Restore Your Smile With Our Custom Dentures
At Bethany Family Dental, we aim to help our patients get their smiles back by providing custom-made dentures. These are removable dental devices that can replace your missing teeth and surrounding tissues.
Our dentures are designed to mimic natural teeth closely and can also improve your smile and restore confidence. We offer two main types of dentures: complete and partial. We suggest complete dentures to those who have lost all their teeth, whereas partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. Our partial denture fills gaps caused by missing teeth and also helps prevent surrounding teeth from shifting.

We offer complete dentures that can be either "conventional" or "immediate." A conventional denture is created after we have extracted teeth and the gum tissue has healed, typically taking 4 to 6 weeks. During this period, our patient will be without teeth. On the other hand, we prepare immediate dentures in advance and fit them immediately after tooth removal, so you do not have to go without teeth during healing. As the tissues shrink and heal, our adjustments will be necessary.
Our custom-fit denture is a highly durable appliance that can last for many years. However, due to normal wear, it may require remaking, repair, or readjustment over time.
Reasons for dentures:
Complete Denture – Complete loss of all teeth in the arch
Partial Denture – Loss of multiple teeth in an arch
Enhanced smile and facial tissues
Improved chewing, speech, and digestion

What Does Getting Dentures Involve?
Our procedure for getting dental dentures in Portland involves multiple appointments over several weeks. We take precise impressions and measurements to craft your custom-fit denture. You may need several "try-in" sessions to confirm the shape, color, and fit. At the final visit, our dentist will carefully adjust and fit the finished denture for a natural, comfortable result.
It's common to notice increased saliva, soreness, and some difficulty with speech and chewing initially. These effects will diminish as your muscles and tissues adjust to the dentures. We will offer care instructions for your new dentures. To make them last long, you need to maintain proper cleaning, good oral hygiene, and regular dental checkups at our denture clinic.
We prioritize patient comfort and long-lasting results. Whether you need a complete or partial denture, we offer personalized care to ensure a natural look and feel. Book an appointment with us today if you are considering dentures in Portland. Take the next step with us so you can smile and eat with confidence again.
