Dr. Marion Holden, DMD, FACD
Dr. Marion Holden is a compassionate and skilled general dentist with a deep commitment to improving oral health and helping patients reach their personal smile goals. As a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, Dr. Holden is committed to advancing excellence, ethics, professionalism and leadership in dentistry. Additionally, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, she brings specialized expertise in screening for and managing sleep-related breathing disorders, including snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. She values a patient-centered approach that ensures every treatment plan is personalized, and she works collaboratively with physicians and specialists to deliver the highest standard of holistic care.
Dr. Holden earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2012. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Tufts, where she served as Chief Resident during her second year. These formative years deepened her clinical skills and laid the groundwork for a career defined by leadership and service. She has since worked in both private practice and public health settings, where she was honored with the 2015 Excellence in Oral Health Award by the Maine Primary Care Association in recognition of her outstanding contributions to community care.
Her dedication to clinical excellence led her to pursue advanced training in dental sleep medicine, ultimately earning Diplomate status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She remains actively involved in several professional organizations and stays at the forefront of emerging techniques and technologies to continually enhance patient outcomes.
Outside the office, Dr. Holden is a proud mother of two young children and enjoys family life in the Pacific Northwest. She loves discovering new parks and playgrounds with her kids, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and relaxing with her husband over a good movie.
